Here is a more detailed list:
- Objects – What they are and how to use them
- Arrays, Functions, Loops, Conditions
- Regular Expressions
- Context: This, Bind, Call & Apply
- Functional Programming
The course has 67 lectures with 7 hours of video at the time of writing this review with updates made regularly.
There are a lot of topics that are covered where other courses do not. It goes into detail on Regular Expressions, Context, Functional Programming and Algorithms.
Another great feature are the labs. Once a concept is learned, a lab is presented to the student where they get to practice what they just learned. This is a great way to get some practice, because Passive learning creates knowledge. Active practice creates skill.
Each section in the course introduces a new topic, but there isn’t a finished project in the end. All lab work is wiped as soon as the browser is closed. On top of that, there isn’t the use of an IDE besides the Google Chrome’s Developer Console. The console is simple and easy to use, but as I’ve mentioned before your work isn’t saved.
